Ambo otherwise known as Pinoy Ambisyoso is a multi- skilled and very versatile person and he’s still single! Yes ladies! you heard it right he’s very single binenta talaga ng husto hahaha However, it’s still not clear to me if he is still available.I think,this all depends on the kind of agreement you make with Reyna.Fee agreement varies from 5-50$ (50 to 300 words) hahaha

But seriously,Ambo is an outrageous blogger,lively,unpretentious and truly a great read.

Shame or ‘hiya’ is probably the most common word in Filipino language.It is ‘nakakahiya’(shameful) for filipina to bear a child outside of wedlock,nakakahiya to kiss your boyfriend infront of your/his parent,nakakahiya to reveal our failures/weaknesses,nakakahiya to hop from bed to bed or having an affair with a married man,nakakahiya if your married life fails,nakakahiya not having enough food/drinks on a party,nakakahiya to say ‘no‘ if one assigned to become ninang/ninong’god parent/s ‘sponsor‘ in wedding or baptism.It’s even ‘nakakahiya’ to openly express our negative/unpleasant emotions, it’s nakakahiya to do this and that, it’s nakakahiya to say this and that, …and….and….That’s Filipino hiya value! We always try to repress our emotions,just to please and accommodate everyone,as we do not want to be labeled as ‘walang hiya’  which roughly means to being ’shameless’

It says the best way to assess the motives behind someone’s jokes is to evaluate the nature of it.You see,jokes has many faces. It can be biting,rude,corny,subtle & funny.It SOMETIMES disguise real emotions;the woman may not want to reveal her jealousy, would says to the husband, ” Look darling, a big boobie girl,isn’t she pretty?!” she should take that comment seriously trying to distract the poor husband on her attempt not to reveal her jellyness.Truth is,she meant ” Dum dum you! Don’t look!!”lol

Jokes can be used to bring people together or to maintain distance.For some, it’s their tool of their aggression especially those who are making jokes at someone else’s expense.

Contentment with life has an obvious wide ranging effect on how people treat others and on how they think.One person might have always dreamed of becoming a topmodel but became a hotel receptionist  or maybe an agogo dancer instead.Another has struggled  and has achieved of having the job of her dream,the other has struggled as well but ended up feeling herself like a loser.The successful one might think ‘Life is so great! and the other might as well think the otherwise.

According to some experts,people who have achieved their goals are tend to be more supportive,optimistic & more compassionate with others than those who were-not -so successful,who tend to be more critical,pessimistic and are quick to place blame on others.

These are few obvious traits that tells us how professionally contented a person is.But the degree of someone’s contentment with life varies you see! a person’s place in the society does not measure of ones life contentment.The value attaches to your job is hardly tells the value of ones greatness,a country’s leader and a gardener for example can be to some people (if not many) equally dignified.

Ok, we all know facebook has been stealing it,lol.

Seriously, it’s not easy to keep our motivation in full swing but now that I have had a good one week break from my blog, I thought I am now back with my blogging mojo ready for an appropriate update.But I am so wrong.I think I need more time to really rethink and reconsider.I feel the pressure especially that there are many other impt. things that’s been occupying in my head lately.When the right time comes, I will discuss all that in more detail.

I appear to be on hiatus here with my attempt to get things into perspective but guess what I did while on my hiatus mode? I was having a great time browsing friend’s photos in facebook and lurking all over the internet like a newbie junkie.Ooops!!Didn’t I say, I need to prioritize? You probably think of me now having a broken circuit in the brain lol but yeah, I can still think rationally with minor progress. Very minor, though!ahem!! (So,this should be ok! lol)

Just wanted to let you know that I’ll be away for a week and therefore I won’t be able to update this blog.I really need to stick my head on something important this week and I want to be focused.I’ll tell the reason why I deleted my post about DSWD expose when I’m back.One thing, I can assure you, there was nothing fishy reason behind the deletion.Here are two things that you can do while I’m gone:

As a young girl,my parents used to tell me this ‘Birds of the same feathers flock together’ They often refer this saying that I have to choose carefully who I socialize and befriend with, because they believe I am going to adopt the behaviors and value of my friends.While I argue to agree on this,I told them,it’s such a stupid conclusion.They shouldn’t take me & my friends to the same standard and expectation.My own personality and values are different from my friends so why do they have to draw this kind of silly conclusions all the time.If I were my parents I won’t give this basis alone much further thought.Frankly,I hesitate to believe on this, that you can tell someone’s character by checking their friends character.helloooo, isn’t that toopid?

An old friend,whom I befriended with decade ago was a very talented person and considerably successful as you can imagine. The problem is,was his frequent lies and he was such a big moaner.He frequently used this action to fool everyone.My friendship with him went on & off and despite of his complex habits and nature,I enjoyed his company for the reason I can never explain to you.We spend most of our time in cafes & bars.We both love coffees and bla blas (err,gossips?lol) He’s loud and he swore alot and me—I laugh a lot! But never did we conform to eachother’s behavior.I’ve never learned how to swear or lie like he did.So you see, what I mean,this is proved example that it is wrong to predict your character thru your friend’s nature of character.

You probably wondering,what am I trying to accomplish here why I am talking about this old friend of mine now. Well,recently I’ve received facebook friends request apparently from him so immediately confirmed him as a friend.I even sent him a message how much I missed him and ofcourse,the usual how are you ek ek.I did get any reply back but instead noticed his profile was nowhere to be found in my list. I was wondering,if he completely chopped off his FB account but this was not the case.I realized he deliberately deleted me from his list after he saw me & family photos.Yeah,another friend confirmed this.Hah??But why? Didn’t he like what he saw? it isn’t clear from my own perspective his reason why he’s doing this,what he’s trying to mean? whether he’s trying to manipulate to cover up his insecurities by hurting me or he’s maneuvering a trick to gain some kind of attention? Whichever is the case,I’m no longer interested to know.

As promised,here´s the 2nd part of the back story post. This shot was taken in Autumn 2007 at our fave’s Palace garden.Truly perfect place to explore especially at this time of the year.In case you didn’t know Autumn & Spring are my favorites season .The clothes I am wearing at these season are more satisfying because I love trench coats lol. You know what’s disappointing these days? It snowed! Grr!! Winter seems like to intrude on the Autumn and I hate it.I never like having winter in Autumn.It’s simply too much for a tropical girl like yours truly

I’m always busy and I think being busy is good especially when one is busy with something good.Now that is confusing? hehe Nei! If you say you are busy because you’re reading books or you are working on a certain projects at the moment then this is good because it’s productive.I love being busy with books but we still have loads of them that are still unread.Reading takes a lot of time and concentration, which I’m unfortunately lacking at the moment. How about you?What have you been up to lately?

I know some of you are probably tired of hearing me being busy here & there.Am I right? lol Well,truth to be told,I’m always busy & tired.I’m not only tired for being busy. I’m also awfully tired.lol This pic was taken last year That’s the back of my mother by the way.She spent almost 3 months of her time to help me (salvage my sanity? hehe) with my newly born no.3 baby. She’s a trained midwife herself so I got the best benefits that I’d have wished for at that moment.You probably notice the house at the background.That’s a typical house in our neighborhood.Quadratisch, praktisch boring?hehe  Just kidding

he said:I hate my life, I don’t receive any email’
me said:Well, If you wish I’ll be more than glad to pass all the spam & chain mails on to your mailbox’ lol
he said:That’s nice of you! Thank you so much.
me said:You meant that seriously? hahaha

We’re annoying errr,joking eachother ofcourse.We actually both rarely enjoy forward/chain mails.Some of them are extremely annoying.Aren’t they?especially those chain mails with threatening,toopid messages on them that something bad will happen if we don’t forward them or telling us that our luck will increase depending on the number of people to whom by forwarding the message. I never like to jinx other people’s mailboxes so I don’t even think about twice before deleting these messages,lol

We love the ones that have funny and inspirational messages.Although, I rarely forward them on,
I save the good one in my folders.However, I still  think our mailboxes would be meaningless if it doesn’t have these  forwarded mails. Right or left??

BTW Yesterday,I’ve got the most touching  (naks!hehe)  most inspiring forward I’ve ever received.Seriously,
I’d like to thank Manilenya for this particular forwarded mail.This one really made difference and it made me feel great so, I thought of sharing it to you,here goes:

A teacher in New York decided to honor each of her seniors in High School by telling them the difference each of them had made.She called each student to the front of the class,one at a time.First,she told each of them how they had made a difference to her,and the class.Then she presented each of them with a blue a ribbon,imprinted with  gold letters,which read–’Who I am makes a difference’ –Afterwards,the teacher decided to do a class project to see what kind of impact recognition would have on a Community.She gave each student three more ribbons and instructed them to go out and spread this acknowledgement ceremony.Then they were to follow up on the results,see who honored whom,and report to the class in about a week.

One of the boys in the class went to a junior executive in a nearby company,and honored him for helping him for his career planning. He gave him a blue ribbon,and put it on his shirt.Then he gave him two extra ribbons and said, We’re doing project on recognition,and we would like you to go out ,find some one to honor,and give them a blue ribbon. Later that day,the junior executive went in to see his boss,who had a reputation of being a kind of a grouchy fellow.He told him that he deeply admired him for being a creative  genius.The boss seemed very surprised.The junior executive asked him if he would accept the gift of the blue ribbon,and give him the permission to put it on him.His boss said,’Well,sure’ The junior executive took one of the blue ribbons and placed it right on his boss’s jacket,above his heart.And then he asked,offering him the last ribbon, ‘Would you take this extra ribbon and pass it on by honoring somebody else.The teenager gave me these is doing a school project,and we want to keep this ribbon ceremony going and see how it affects people.

That night,the boss came home and sat down with his 14 years old son.He said,’The most incredible thing happened to me today.I was in my office,and one of my employees came in and told me he admired me,and gave me a blue ribbon for being a creative genius. Imagine! he thinks I am creative genius!Then he put a blue ribbon on me that says ‘Who I am makes a difference’. He gave me an extra ribbon and asked me to find somebody else to honor.As I was driving home tonight, I started thinking about who I would honor with this ribbon,and thought about you. I wnat to honor you.My days are hectic and when I come home I don’t pay a lot of attention to you.I yell at you for not getting good enough  grades and for your messy bedroom.Somehow,tonight, I just wanted to sit here and, well,just to let you know that you do make a difference to me.Besides your mother,you are the most important person in my life. You’re a great kid!and  I love you! The startled boy started to sob and sob,and he couldn’t stop crying.His whole body shook.He looked up at his father and said through his tears, ‘Dad,earlier tonight I sat in my room and wrote a letter to you and Mom,explaining why I had took my life,and asked you to forgive me. I was going to commit suicide after you were asleep. I just didn’t think that you cared at all.The letter is upstairs.I don’t think I will need it afterall.His father walked upstairs and found a heartfelt letter full of anguish and pain.The boss went back to work a changed man.He was no longer a grouch,but made sure to let all his employees know that they made a difference.
