happy anniversary ‘ling-ling!
Four years ago today,I walked down the aisle and found the most wonderful man waiting for me. Of course, I did already know he was going to be there for me (ahh, he must really love me to be there,lol). Today my love for him is deeper than I was on August 24,2002 .Besides the joy of marriage(Children were born).We too,have ups & downs.Life happened. We moved three times in our four years of marriage.Life changed.And here we are still, proud beyond words that we have remained steadfast in our love (& silliness,hehe) Luvyah ling!Happy Anniversary!
Our Church Wedding Highlights recap:
-The wedding ceremony was held at the historic St.Esprit Cathedral,Istanbul Turkey
-The Bridemaids wore in a light gold lovely dresses and ofcourse,their counterpart (the groomsmen) wore the traditional (ang walang kamatayang) Barong Tagalog in classic beige color.
-My wedding dress was very stunning.It was designed by a good friend Dan Matias.He really did an awesome job(Labyu mamah!!)The compliments, I’ve received were beyond count,it was as if I was made for that dress ( ay!baliktad ‘that dress was made for me fahla’ nyahaha) Absolutely pretty!
-It was attended by 113 guests,friends & family from Turkey,Germany & the Philippines.The invited guests included from Philippine Embassy & German Consulate.
-There were two(Turkish & Filipino)incredible professional bands playing on our wedding.I have to say,they were the best as they were so kind enough to play my (& hubby’s,too) favorite songs ‘Shakira’s- Underneath Your Clothes’ and Fugees-Killing Me Softly at our reception. (Can you imagine having one of these songs during the ceremony? in the church?lol)
-We held the reception on the rooftop of Grand Halic Hotel Istanbul.The view from the rooftop was totally magnificient!
-Our flower girl & ring bearer were dressed in german traditional costumes.

cherry:Thanks tukayo!:) It was actually more of multicultural tradition combined (turkish,german & filipino)Li’l bit of this & li’l bit of that kunbaga,lol Lalo na sa reception,but in the church were more of german & filipino tradition combined. It was very interesting indeed!

I’m going to comment here because I read this post and I was drawn to it straight away. soon as I saw the wedding photo I was here to take a further look.
Your wedding dress is beautiful…and YOU are beautiful of course, and as for that man of yours, my word, he’s a handsome devil. You did good!
