seat pls,I’m a filipina!

Being a ’filipina’ comes about as naturally to me as being Maria Clara or as being Gabriela Silang.I obviously fall somewhere in between.I don’t take my time before dealing certain issues.I tend to just outburst and sweep the shit that fall out from my mouth later. It’s one of my character flaws.Does that sound a typical Filipina to you?Jesus, noooo! typical Psycho? maybe, lol.Let me tell you a typical filipina character:demure, beautiful, caring, sweet, jelly bean (jealous),sulky (matampuhin) ,conservative, obedient, shy, impeccable buhay pa ba ang mga ito?lol

Recently,OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) was harshly unreasonably denounced by one particular filipina elite kuno.People including myself naturally made a caustic, remarks about the  woman (the elite). My comment was: ’Aba!nakaka-highblood nga yan!’ (Aha,this can trigger highblood pressures) in response to The Four-eyed Journal’s post, entitled ‘bad cholesterol, very bad cholesterol’. I shone a light on the whole thing after re -reading her article and realized that the elite’s article was not only shallow but poorly constructed as well

My favorite line,

“Meanwhile, I wanted to slash my wrist at the thought of being trapped in a plane with all of them.”  -the elite

Could anyone tell this woman the correct preposition pls!! I wonder, if she know the song,I’m leaving ON a jetplane?lol Now,I understand why many of our kababayans intimidated by the whole thing. Nakakahiya daw kasi english nya, hahaha

Okay, enough BS to a BS!

My significant observation which really bothering me were the intense, frequent, remarkable use of profanity by the angry filipina women against the elite.I could understand what inspired them to outburst but dear oh dear, those F$cking/P€ta words have significantly overrun your social graces as filipina. I tell you,it’s quite threatening.

Mga ineng dahan dahan,nakakahiya! ;)

The Joe Malone crontroversy hahaha. Honestly it serves a good lesson for everyone. It’s always easy to attack someone in blogosphere kaso nga lang yung sa kay elitista was in-print (published in a newspaper/magazine) and she should have been responsible for it. The blame would also go to the publisher, bakit hinayaan nila na walang proof-reading? And syempre sa mga OFW’s, I understand people easily react, emotional baga ang mga Pinoy. Kaso sobra yung below the belt na ginawa ng iba.

*Paki proof read nga ang blog ko? hahaah.

    Controversy* pala, ayan nahawa ako.

And I also like those lines, parang kinuha nya yan dun sa movie ni Ate Shawee yung most popular lines ni Cherrie Gil, “You are nothing but a second rate, trying hard, copycat (coffe cup)”. Diba?

RennyBA:The only spelling grammatical errors I’ve been correcting usually are my own. I’ve problems with them, too. But that elite is exceptional in this case, lol

I think,we can’t really prevent ourselves to commit grammatical errors esp. when we speak and in writing, too. But if one is pro columnist like her, commit a grammatical crime such as incorrect usage of presposition!they deserve to be punished err, to be corrected, lol They’re paid you know;)

I do that all the time He!He!He!.But she should know better. Grammatical errors can be particularly difficult to catch, because spell-check might not flag them. This is why experts stress proofreading is still the best antidote. :) Nice post my friend.Wishing you well

Bloggers are now calling for a boycott of the Manila Standard Today, they lied about Malu Fernandez’s resignation.

I’m no longer discussing the recent developments in my blog about this issue but everyone knows where I stand.
