New York here I come!

You can’t trust anyone in the Big Apple.Ask directions only from cops, never  from any stranger on the street.Don’t expect anyone, to come to help if you’re attacked in New York. It’s best not to carry cash.Don’t stand on the subway edge, some sicko might push you into the tracks.Never ever go to Central Park alone especially at night.Watch out of snatchers & dog shits, they’re everywhere.New York cab drivers are the most discourteous in the world.Had my mom & aunt not gone and lived in this city.I wouldn’t have found this big city and known it the way I do now.My mental image of New York was mostly negative.I’d visualize of tall infrastructures where people were reduced like small insects on the street. I was even told that old people there are homeless that they mostly slept on the street or sidewalks at night. But these series of positive encounters of my aunt & mom’s while living in New York shooed away my earlier impressions about the city thus convinced me that New York was not the heartless city that many people thought it to be.My mom & aunt can testify this. They said, they have never met nasty cab drivers there.Anyway,it’s just that their experiences showed me to see the different light of the city. It turned out to be very impressive.I consider myself lucky to  have people like my mom & aunt  who have formed and informed me the positive impressions about this city.

This does not mean that New York turned out to be my dream city now but it’s definitely, one of the exciting cities in America I’d love to visit. My husband and I are actually attempting to plan a trip to New York City mid summer next year, learn to become a little New Yorker:)I’m really looking forward to this so I decided to check Trusted Tours and Attractions as they offers discounted tickets to the best sightseeing tours in New York and other 21 cities across America.I even signed up for their Trusted Travel eNewsletter  to keep myself inform about the city and also to find out their ongoing travel best deals and other travel updates.I just learned that if you sign up their Trusted Travel Newsletter now you’re automatically entered to win an iPod Nano. Isn’t that great? So what you’re waiting for?

new york as your mom said is a nice place to live in as it’s not just a place of tall skyscrapers . would love for you to come by and visit our city. it’s a nice mix of ‘warm’ and ‘cold’ people as any other big city in the world.
